Booster Club Welcomes New Leadership for 2026–2027

New President and Vice President bring a shared commitment to supporting Mammoth High School students

The Mammoth High School Booster Club is excited to announce its leadership team for the 2026–2027 school year following board elections held at the Club's June meeting.

Please join us in welcoming Kristen Voorhees as President and Kate Fenske as Vice President. Together, they join a dedicated team of volunteers committed to supporting Mammoth High School students, teachers, coaches, and programs through fundraising, advocacy, and community engagement.

Kristen Voorhees and her family moved to Mammoth Lakes full-time in 2023 and quickly embraced the community and opportunities the area offers. She is the proud mother of Mercer, an incoming junior at Mammoth High School, and Nicholas, who will enter eighth grade this fall. Kristen looks forward to fostering a welcoming environment where families feel encouraged to get involved and make a difference.

"I believe every family has something valuable to contribute," said Voorhees. "The strength of our school comes from the support of our community, and I look forward to partnering with parents, staff, students, and local businesses to make this a successful year for Mammoth High School."

Vice President Kate Fenske brings a passion for community involvement and a deep appreciation for the role volunteers play in helping students succeed. Originally from London, Kate moved to Mammoth full-time last summer after many years in Los Angeles. Her family has long been connected to the Mammoth community through skiing, school, and outdoor recreation. Her son Alfie will join Mammoth High School as a freshman this fall, while her eldest son, Monty, recently completed his first year of college.

"One of the things I love most about Mammoth is the way this community shows up for its kids," said Fenske. "I'm grateful for the opportunity to serve on the Booster Club board and help support Mammoth High students as they learn, grow, and pursue their goals."

As the Booster Club begins planning for the new school year—including Husky Fest 2026, academic awards, teacher appreciation events, and support for student programs—the organization remains focused on enriching the educational experience of Mammoth High School students through community involvement and fundraising.

While several leadership positions have been filled, the Booster Club is still seeking a volunteer to serve as Secretary for the 2026–2027 school year. This important role helps keep meetings organized, maintain records, and support the work of the Board. If you've been looking for a meaningful way to get involved, this is a great opportunity to join a supportive team and make a direct impact on programs that benefit Mammoth High School students.

The Booster Club welcomes new volunteers year-round and encourages parents, grandparents, alumni, local businesses, and community members to get involved. Whether helping at events, serving on committees, supporting fundraisers, or taking on leadership roles, every volunteer contributes to opportunities that benefit Mammoth High School students.

Together, the Booster Club looks forward to another successful year of supporting our Huskies and strengthening the connection between our school and community. If you're interested in serving as Secretary or learning more about the Booster Club, we'd love to hear from you.
