Two Big Nights. One Husky Nation
Updated: 9 minutes ago
Volleyball playoffs Tuesday. Football Senior Night Friday. Let’s give our Huskies a Husky Nation crowd to remember!

There’s plenty to cheer for at Mammoth High School this week. Our girls volleyball team enters the Division IV playoffs as the No. 1 seed, while Husky football heads into a major Friday night matchup with playoff positioning on the line. Both teams will be playing at home—and both deserve a crowd that shows up loud and proud.
Tuesday: Pack the Gym for Volleyball
The Huskies host a home playoff match Tuesday, October 27, at 5 p.m. in the MHS gym. The opponent is still to be announced (Madera or Minarets), but the assignment for Mammoth fans is clear: fill those bleachers!
Our girls have put together a season worth celebrating. In September, Mammoth won the Cal City Volleyball Tournament for the first time since 2019, with senior outside hitter Greta Koehler earning tournament MVP honors. The team also reached the gold bracket in all four tournaments it entered this season, testing itself against tough competition, including larger schools from higher divisions, also winning our own home tourney.
Now, with a 10-0 league record, it’s time to bring that experience into the postseason—with Husky Nation behind them.
All volleyball playoff tickets must be purchased through GoFan. Search for Mammoth High School and watch for the school’s ticket link and opponent announcement.
Friday: Senior Night Under the Lights
On Friday, October 30, at 7 p.m., Mammoth football hosts Immanuel Christian for Senior Night. The Huskies enter the week with an 8–1 record, and this matchup promises a serious test.

Immanuel Christian comes off a 58–42 win over Sierra Lutheran—the team responsible for Mammoth’s only loss this season. Our coaching staff expects a challenging night for the defense, but says the Huskies are hungry and ready.
There could be plenty at stake beyond Friday’s score. The coaching staff believes the winner could earn the top seed in the CIF Central Section tournament, putting the Huskies in a strong position to host playoff games. Official seeding is still to come, but a big Husky Nation crowd can make Friday feel like the postseason has already arrived.
It’s also our chance to celebrate the seniors who have given their heart to this program. Bring the family, invite your neighbors and help give them a Senior Night to remember.
Help Keep Husky Football Going
Friday is an opportunity to support the program financially, too. Football costs at least $30,000 a year to operate, according to the coaching staff. With only two home games played so far this season, the team has had fewer opportunities to raise money through game nights.
If you’ve been meaning to contribute, Friday is a great time to make a donation directly to the football program. Every contribution helps support the team and the work that goes into getting our players onto the field.
Need something warm for the bleachers? Football mom Tania Painter will have Mammoth Huskies colorblock sweatshirts available for $45 and can arrange delivery before the game. Text Tania at 720-272-3306 to purchase one.
Whether you’re a longtime Husky fan, a proud parent, an MHS alum or a neighbor who loves a good hometown game, you’re invited.
Tuesday at 6. Friday at 7. Wear your Husky colors, bring your cheering voice, and let’s show both teams what Huskie Nation looks like. Go Huskies!
