From May 5–9, the MHS Booster Club took Teacher Appreciation to the next level—expanding what is traditionally a single-day gesture into a full week of pampering, surprises, and heartfelt thanks for the incredible teachers and staff at Mammoth High School.
Spearheaded by parent volunteer Theresa Brocia, the event transformed the campus into a hub of appreciation, with each day bringing new treats and meaningful moments for the hardworking educators who shape the lives of MHS students. With the help of dedicated Booster parents and generous community sponsors, the weeklong celebration was filled with thoughtful touches and tangible reminders of how deeply valued the staff are.

Monday: Baked Goods & Fruit Station
The week kicked off with a delicious spread of locally baked goodies and a fresh fruit station—perfect for easing into the week with a smile and a snack.
Tuesday: Keep Calm & Tea On
Teachers were invited to unwind at a relaxing herbal tea and candle station. Each visitor was gifted a candle, soothing hand lotion, and a selection of teas to enjoy during or after the school day.
Wednesday: Mid-Week Sweet Indulgence
A sugar rush came just in time with a table full of sweet treats and indulgent beverages—because nothing lifts spirits like a little dessert in the middle of the week.
Thursday: Let’s Get Ready for Summer
With summer break around the corner, staff picked up some fun and useful summer essentials to help them prepare for their well-earned time off.
Friday: Grab 'n Go Thank-You Lunch
To close out the week, staff enjoyed a healthy Grab 'n Go lunch—perfect for fueling up before a weekend getaway or powering through a Friday workload.
Community and Parent Support
None of this would have been possible without the generous backing of local businesses, many of which stepped forward with donations of food, gifts, and services. Parents contributed both time and resources, helping with setup, cleanup, and ensuring every detail felt personal and sincere.
Theresa Brocia’s thoughtful coordination turned a big idea into a beautiful reality. “Our teachers go above and beyond every single day,” she said. “We wanted to show them the same level of care and commitment they give our kids.”
A Lasting Impact
The week of appreciation left a lasting impression, with many staff members expressing how seen and supported they felt. More than just treats or gifts, the event served as a reminder of the strong connection between the school and the community.
At MHS, it’s clear that supporting students means supporting the people who guide and teach them. The Booster Club’s Teacher Appreciation Week was a heartfelt thank-you—and a joyful celebration of those who make the school a place of growth, discovery, and care.
