Mammoth High School Booster Club's Holiday Tree Lot Brings Festive Cheer and Vital Support
The Mammoth High School Booster Club’s oldest and most cherished fundraiser, the Holiday Tree Lot, celebrated a record-breaking season this year, raising record funds for local teams, clubs, and educational programs that will make athletics and activities safer and richer for MHS Students.

Hosted for the first time at Outbound Mammoth, the festive event was a resounding success, earning $2,377 for the Booster Club’s general fund and an impressive $6,100 for participating teams and organizations.
This annual event offered a one-stop holiday shop with real trees, wreaths, lights, stands, and, for the first time, even photos with Santa himself. Shoppers could enjoy a complimentary hot chocolate at Bar Sierra with every tree purchase and snag a 20% dining coupon for added cheer. For those with busy schedules, online ordering and delivery services provided a convenient way to spread holiday joy.

Beyond the shopping experience, the Holiday Tree Lot was a community gathering hub. Families could let their kids explore the free arcade at Outbound Mammoth while adults relaxed by fire pits under twinkling tree lights. Students gathered around the fire pits to stay warm, and enjoy their work shifts. The festive atmosphere created cherished memories and highlighted the spirit of togetherness that defines Mammoth Lakes.
The event’s success was made possible through the dedication of numerous volunteers, local businesses, and generous sponsors. Special thanks go to Eric Fallecker and Jason Burkhart from Outbound, Josh Rieche, Marcos Humes from High Country Lumber, and many others who contributed to this memorable experience.
