Pumpkins, Bingo and Community Spirit: Two October Events Worth Supporting
Fall is bringing two opportunities to gather with friends, enjoy our community and support the people who help make Mammoth a special place. MHS Boosters invites families to visit the new Family Pumpkin Patch at Mammoth Rock ’N’ Bowl and join Volunteer Eastern Sierra for an evening of “Not Your Grandma’s Bingo.”
A New Fall Tradition: Family Pumpkin Patch

New this year, the Family Pumpkin Patch at Mammoth Rock ’N’ Bowl welcomes the community for two weekends: October 17–18 and October 24–25, 2026, from noon to 6 p.m., at 3029 Chateau Road. Bring the family, choose a pumpkin and make a fall memory close to home.
Organizers have indicated that MHS teams will have opportunities to work the event and raise funds, with some proceeds expected to benefit Boosters and MHS students. They have specifically shared that proceeds from pumpkin sales will support the MHS football team.
We’re excited to see this new community event take shape and appreciate the organizers’ efforts to include our students. Stop by, pick a pumpkin and enjoy a fall outing while cheering on the teams helping bring the event to life.
A Night Out with a Longtime Booster Partner
On Tuesday, October 20, Volunteer Eastern Sierra presents “Not Your Grandma’s Bingo” at The Warming Hut, 343 Old Mammoth Road. Registration begins at 5 p.m., with bingo starting at 6 p.m. The flyer promises raffle prizes, live auctions, food, laughs and plenty of chances to win.

VES has been a longtime partner of MHS Boosters, helping us raise funds through a VES bingo event several years in a row. Those evenings bring people together, introduce neighbors to the work Boosters does and help make opportunities possible across athletics, arts, academics and student activities.
October’s bingo event benefits Volunteer Eastern Sierra, making this a welcome opportunity to show up for an organization that has repeatedly shown up for our students. VES provides volunteers and funds to positively impact the Eastern Sierra, with local school music programs among the organizations it supports.
Whether you’re picking a pumpkin with your children or gathering friends around a bingo table, we hope you’ll join us. Thank you to VES, our local businesses, volunteers and participating teams for creating ways to connect—and for helping our students thrive.
