Fun, Games, and Big Wins: On-Course Games & Raffles

At Husky Fest, the golf may take center stage, but the energy of Husky Nation came alive through two crowd favorites: the on-course games and the boosters raffle. From marshmallow drives to golf ball cannons, players had endless opportunities to test their skills while raising funds for Mammoth teams. Meanwhile, the raffle created just as much buzz off the greens, offering incredible prizes and celebrating winners who walked away with everything from gear to experiences — all while fueling programs that support our students year-round.

On-Course Games:

This year’s lineup included classics like Putting, Beat the Pro, Soccer Mulligan, and Shoot the Grid, alongside quirky favorites such as Marshmallow Drive, Golf Ball Cannon, where booming launches paired with football team swag brought in record participation. Many players let the planning team know how much they loved reliving their athletic youth while playing Just Throw Strikes! and Free Throw Challenge which kept nostalgia high and donations flowing.

The basketball team scored big with this pro setup and great signage. It earned them some awesome feedback from players who absolutely loved their game.
The basketball team scored big with this pro setup and great signage. It earned them some awesome feedback from players who absolutely loved their game.

And flow they did. Collectively, the games raised tens of thousands of dollars, with several booths bringing in $2,000–$4,000 each. The Cannon game alone pulled in nearly $4,000, while other teams brought in impressive totals ranging from just over $1,500 to close to $2,500 for the day. Even partial shifts and shared holes generated hundreds of dollars — proof that every effort added up.

The excitement didn’t stop at the games themselves. The Ski & Snowboard Team’s putting green challenge gave one lucky winner an incredible prize: a $600 driver generously donated by Dave Schott.

From Coach Connie: Thank you, the ski and snowboard teams are very grateful for the opportunity to make money at this event for the first time!!! .... We LOVED working the putting holes and would love to do that again. I think the golfers all had a great time as well. THANK YOU!!!

The funds raised will go right back into supporting student athletes, musicians, and programs. Teams are already planning to purchase new uniforms, travel support for tournaments and races, field gear, safety equipment, and mats for games. The band and other groups will use their share for new instruments, music, and trip support, while others are prioritizing swag, entry fees, and equipment that keeps their programs strong.

Beyond the dollars, the games captured what Husky Fest is all about: creativity, community, and kids working hard to fuel their passions. By taking a shot at a marshmallow drive, daring to beat the pro, or sinking a putt for a big prize, players weren’t just having fun — they were directly investing in the future of Mammoth’s students.

Boosters Raffle:

If the games brought the action, the Husky Fest raffle brought the anticipation. With tables piled high with prizes and tickets flying fast, the raffle became a highlight for many participants. The best part? For the first time, every dollar raised went directly into the Boosters General Fund, strengthening programs across all teams and activities.

This year’s raffle did not disappoint — raising nearly $20,000, even more than last year, and showcasing the generosity of local businesses and families who donated prizes. Winners walked away with exciting items ranging from outdoor gear and local gift certificates to special experiences and one-of-a-kind treasures.

Congratulations to our raffle winners, and heartfelt thanks to every participant who purchased tickets, donated prizes, or volunteered time to make it all possible. Your contributions ensure that every team, every student, and every classroom feels the impact of Husky Fest.
